We respectfully ask that you read and agree to the Terms & Conditions below.
1. Function Booking & Confirmation
1.1 Provisional event bookings are held for 14 days, after which time they are automatically released unless a deposit is received to secure your booking.
1.2 An Event Contract must also be signed and completed at this stage. All bookings are considered provisional until the Event Contract is signed, the Terms & Conditions have been agreed, and the deposit has been received.
1.3 If Home Table receives another enquiry for your provisional dates, you will be contacted and requested to confirm within 24 hours to offer first refusal.
2. Payment Schedule
2.1 A holding deposit must be paid to secure Home Table when the Event Contract is signed. Until the holding deposit has been paid, Home Table will not treat the booking as made or confirmed.
2.2 The final balance (adjusted for all deposits or other payments made) must be paid no later than 4 weeks (28 days) prior to the event.
3. Cancellations
3.1 If you cancel the contract between us, Home Table may need to charge you for certain unavoidable costs. If you wish to reduce the number of persons attending the function, Home Table may not be able to reduce the amount charged.
3.2 To ensure your event goes smoothly, Home Table purchases food and other consumables well in advance. Our team will also have spent time planning your event and arranging staffing and logistics. At the time of cancellation, food, beverages, and other items may already have been purchased and cannot always be returned.
3.3 To recover costs in the event of cancellation, Home Table will charge a percentage of the total quoted price (including accommodation, function room hire, equipment, and pre-booked food and beverage charges) as follows:
- More than 1 year to 6 months prior – Nil
- 3 to 6 months prior – 25% of quoted value
- 3 months to 8 weeks prior – 50% of quoted value
- 8 weeks to 4 weeks prior – 75% of quoted value
- Under 4 weeks prior – 100% of quoted value
3.4 If Home Table has incurred any costs with third parties on your behalf, these must be paid in full.
3.5 If guest numbers are reduced less than 4 weeks before the event date, the full price will normally be payable.
4. Guest Numbers
4.1 Final guest numbers must be provided 28 days before your event. The age and number of children attending must also be confirmed at this time. Any reduction in guest numbers after this date will be charged at the previously agreed numbers.
5. Food & Drink
5.1 Details of your chosen food and drink options must be provided at least 8 weeks prior to your event.
5.2 A full list of dietary requirements must be supplied 7 days before your event. Any additional meals or dietary requirements requested on the day will incur an additional charge.
5.3 Home Table can provide meals for working guests such as photographers, DJs, and other suppliers. A main course plate can be provided for £20 per person.
6. Tasting
6.1 Tastings are a great way to experience Home Table. Tastings for up to 4 people are available at a cost of £200, which covers ingredients and the chef’s time.
7. Third-Party Suppliers
7.1 Home Table can recommend third-party suppliers; however, you must contact them directly.
7.2 Any recommendations are provided for convenience only. Home Table accepts no responsibility for the performance of third-party suppliers. Any complaints or payments must be handled directly with them.
8. Deliveries & Access
8.1 Home Table requires access to the event venue no later than 8:00am on the day of the event.
8.2 Equipment deliveries may be required and will arrive no earlier than 24 hours before the event.
9. Liability
9.1 Home Table’s liability for any loss or damage (other than death or personal injury) is limited to a reasonable amount, considering whether the loss resulted from negligence by Home Table or its employees.
9.2 Subject to clause 9.3, Home Table is not liable for loss or damage caused by your own actions, the actions of third parties unconnected with Home Table, or circumstances that could not reasonably have been foreseen or prevented.
9.3 Nothing in this agreement limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence on the part of Home Table or its employees.
